The Parish Church of Longton St Andrew,
Longton, Preston, Lancashire, PR4 5AA

Welcome to St Andrew's

St Andrew’s is a traditional Parish Church situated in the heart of the village of Longton in Lancashire.

We have a friendly Church community, welcoming both regular worshipers and visitors. The pattern of services aims to blend the traditional and more contemporary and events are arranged in both the Church and Church Hall to encompass the wider village community.

Our Vicar for 27 years, Rev. Andrew Parkinson, has recently retired and we are in a period of interregnum until a new vicar is appointed. This could be in as little as three months, but is likely to be longer.

In this period there will be fewer services as we are dependent on a number of retired clergy and our own Licensed Lay Minister in training, Joan Doerich.

If you live near or just passing, please come and pay us a visit. You will be made most welcome.
